Shaena Doyle — Survivor, Mother, Advocate, and the Voice Behind The Luxury Lie

Shaena Doyle is a survivor of extreme domestic violence, a devoted mother, and a national advocate for women and children impacted by abuse, coercive control, and systemic failure.

In her early twenties, Shaena entered what appeared to be a life of privilege after marrying a wealthy businessman. Behind the public image of success, luxury, and affluence, she endured years of escalating domestic violence, manipulation, and control. When she attempted to leave the marriage and protect her children, the danger intensified rather than subsided.

Despite restraining orders and repeated requests for protection, Shaena’s concerns were repeatedly dismissed. Her case later became public record when her former husband pled no contest to conspiracy-related charges after attempting to orchestrate violence against her from jail. Following these events, Shaena was placed into California State Witness Protection for her safety and the safety of her children.

For more than fifteen years, Shaena lived in hiding — changing names, locations, and identities while raising her sons alone. She lost all financial security and stability while rebuilding her life entirely from scratch. Her experience exposed a painful truth: leaving an abusive relationship does not always mean safety, especially when power, influence, and wealth are involved.

Today, Shaena Doyle is reclaiming her voice. Through her upcoming memoir and advocacy platform, The Luxury Lie, she educates the public about domestic violence within high-wealth households and the devastating consequences survivors often face after escaping abuse. Her work highlights the failures of legal systems, the emotional and financial toll on mothers, and the long-term impact on children forced into survival mode.

Shaena is now dedicated to advocacy and awareness for:

Survivors of domestic violence and coercive control

Women and children affected by stalking and abuse

Families forced into hiding or witness protection

Mothers financially devastated while escaping violence

Systemic failures within law enforcement and family courts

Her mission is to ensure that survivors are believed, protected, and supported — and that no woman or child is dismissed, silenced, or left unprotected.Shaena Doyle’s story is not only one of survival, but of resilience, truth, and long-overdue accountability.
